Lion Cut
A close body clip that leaves the head, boots and tail. The kindest reset for a coat that has gone past brushing, and a genuine relief for long-haired cats through summer.

De-Matting & De-Shedding
Mats pull on skin and hurt. We work them out slowly with the right blades and plenty of breaks, then de-shed the undercoat so it does not come straight back.

Do I need to be home during the appointment?
Yes, please. We need someone there to hand the cat over and take them back inside. You’re welcome to stay and watch or go back to your day — whichever keeps your cat calmer.
What if my cat is nervous or has never been groomed?
That’s most of our clients. We go slowly, keep the first session short, and stop early if we need to. A nervous cat’s first visit is about building trust, not finishing a checklist.
Do you sedate cats?
Never. We are not veterinarians and we do not use sedatives of any kind. If a cat genuinely cannot be groomed safely while awake, we’ll tell you honestly and suggest you speak to your vet.
Where does the van park, and do you need my power or water?
Any legal space on your street or driveway is fine. The van carries its own generator, water tank and heater, so we don’t need anything from your home.
How often should my cat be groomed?
Short-haired cats do well every 8–12 weeks. Long-haired and senior cats usually need every 4–6 weeks to stay ahead of matting. We’ll suggest a rhythm after the first visit.
What about matted cats — can you fix it in one visit?
Sometimes. Severe matting is often kinder to resolve over two shorter appointments, and in bad cases a lion cut is the gentlest option. We’ll assess before we start and talk you through it.
Do you groom more than one cat per visit?
Yes, and there’s a discount for each additional cat. We groom them one at a time so nobody waits in a carrier.
What forms of payment do you take?
Card, Apple Pay and bank transfer, taken in the van once the groom is done. There’s no deposit and no charge if you cancel more than 24 hours ahead.
